Meet some of Arizona’s most popular Western authors on Saturday, November 17th,  from 9 a.m. to noon., at The Authors’ Day Festival at  the North Mountain Visitor Center, 12950 N. 7th St., Phoenix, in the Phoenix Mountain Preserve.

Local authors will meet the public and sign their books.  All books will be available for purchase; sales support the Save Our Mountains Foundation.  Event and parking is free. Hiking trails are open.

Operated by the Save Our Mountains Foundation, Arizona Parks and Recreation Association, Phoenix Mountains Preservation Council, Inc., and Central Arizona Mountain Rescue Association, The North Mountain Visitor Center gives guests an up-close and personal tour of the Phoenix Mountain Preserve and the plants and animals that make up the beautiful area surrounding the Center.

This is free event, the books must be purchased in the Center’s Gift Shoppe for the authors to sign. All proceeds from the sale of books benefit the Save Our Mountains Foundation for the operation and programs at the North Mountain Visitor Center.
